That sounds like a good day for you.

From everything I read, near the water or just in it if you have a water proof detector. Many coils are water proof but the box may not be. Lots of people have too much chatter from detectors that are not specifically made for salt water.

Ideal would be: Water proof detector, made for salt water, in the shallow surf or wet sand, low tide, after a storm.

The 2004 hurricanes took part of my roof and caused over $22,000 in damage to my home. The hurricanes owe me something. >:( I will be at the beach after every storm this year. :D

when i hunt the beach i try to hunt around the blanket or towel marks that people have made. it is always good to go to the beach when it is busy and see where the people sit and when thy leave check where the sat. i have found that the messier they are the more they lose. ;D
