Hello Treasure friends!

I went out detecting with Ron & Richard today down near the University of Oregon. It's amazing that we are still finding stuff in these areas that we thought we hunted out! Here's what I dug today:

1959-D Rosie Dime
1966 silver Canadian Dime
5 wheats dating from 1928 to 1958
small silver ring
2 clad quarters
34 clad dimes
1 modern nickel
80 Memorial cents

I took pic's of the silver before and after I cleaned 'em up. These are my silver coin finds #69 & #70 for the year.

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Neil,

Nice to see there's still some silver around here! I'm still on the injured reserve list.

You surely did your share of digging that day and with several keepers too boot. I have yet to find close to 34 dimes in one afternoon, my penny count may be as high as yours though.

Nice job, Neil. I really like the canadian silver dime. Darned civilized of those guys to make silver in '66. Heck, I'd have one heck of a lot more silver US coins if they built em past '64.
