Still wondering Where the silver is,
It's gotta Be here. Noticed I Have a Problem
with Animals (an animal) redigging My Holes.
Spent time refilling my holes from
Yesterday not very happy about that.
I'll Squash It if I Catch it & Turn
it into a road Frisbee.
only thing I saw was a cat in the distance so far
not sure if that's the culprit or not.
there are also alot of pok holes from something digging.

Ha! I had the same problem before I learned about cutting a hinged plug. I was so careful to replace every loose plug perfectly, brushed the soil out of the grass around the hole, and general felt like a good citizen ..... Then after maybe an hour of never taking my eye off the coil or the holes I bothered looking around and there was the renter's dog shaking a divot like it was a dead squirrel! The whole place looked like a mine field. I gathered up each sorry little fragment of bare root grass and tried to patch it all together, but it was hopeless. I was gently told by the landowner a few days later that I was no longer allowed to detect on this paprticular properrty

keep hittting that spot your digging some early wheat cents there's got
to be some silver waiting for you I've had that problem at one spot in
the past an i just got an idea You might want to bring along some
"pepper" ? and sprinkle some on every plug let em sniff that lol
oh an the thing you have marked hollow ? i'm pretty sure it's a target

Knew it was Familiar but Couldn't Place it without
it Being on the arrow

good idea on the pepper.

Powdered Acid would be better the way I feel about it
& I'm not talking the Psychedelic . maybe good
strong rat poison. something that will Kill an elephant

Problem Is I probably won't be back till
the next warm Up & If all My holes
are open when somone goes up to Mow
I may get the blame.

Well that's no good Maybe you'll have to carry a bottle of pepper solution to squrt on the plugs until the phantom animal gets tired of it?

Habaneros. Water. Little bit of vodka. Blend up the habaneros with some water, dash of vodka. Or just water if that's all you have. Spray a little bit of that on your plugs.

Let's see mister Dog get a mouthful of that goodness.



It should work better with the vodka added. Helps spread the oleoresin. But don't use too much vodka or you could kill the grass.

I've read about this problem before on here. Can't quite remember what it was but like a ground squirrel or rodant type thing that digs them up looking for bugs, as its easy to dig.

yep same here on the grubs,
they are everywhere

and apparently the reason for the digging
all over

Jeff it is more than likely skunks we did not treat are lawn this year for grubs and my back lawn for the last week has looked like twenty uncaring md<ers dug up my back yard They were traping skunks and 8 huge one last night boy they do damage little bast--- any way that is my bet as to what is tearing up your holes they are bad this year in central N.Y<Rob
