those Seated & 3 cent pieces are awesome looking coin's

...they built houses back in 1992 over the fairgrounds here. wish i had a detector back then.

Great finds. :icon_thumright: I have a few old fairgrounds around me in southern IN, but they've been pounded to death. I knew of one old fairground that was on older maps of the area, but there's a new addition to the High School sitting on it now. :-\ You snooze, you lose. I'd have to guess you're somewhere south of Indy with those finds, but maybe not. If they were 20-30years older I would say definitely.

Wow nice finds! I have a fairgrounds I know is OK to hunt just have not got around to it. Its a bit of a drive, 75 miles. Thinkin I will put that on my list for the spring.

Wow that is some nice haul of coins there, it will make a wonderful day for you to remember. Sometimes just remembering such a day is almost as good as the actucal digging!
