Got frustrated at new site, so I visited my "silver park" and SCORED!

I had it in my head that I was going to get silver at this old house today...it has trees that are 4+ feet wide, and the outhouse is still standing! My first signal was a wheat at 2" and I just knew it would be a good day. Three hours later I had 50 zincolns, a quarter...one more wheat...3 tax tokens...etc, no silver.
Here's the kills...

I got tired of digging zincolns, and crap...so I abandoned my new site, and went to my trusty silver park...

FIRST TARGET!

I had been over that very spot SEVERAL times, but I came in and CRANKED the sensitivity higher than I had ever done so...and the 1917 screamed at me from about 8 inches past a piece of iron...
I also found this pottery in a hole I dug at the silver park. It's strange, because it is so thick! Also, the diameter of the inside seems to only be about 4 or 5 inches?

here's one more...just a group shot!

thanks for lookin'!

Good work Tom! That Merc is in great shape! I hate it when I get all psyched up to hit a new spot and then find it is a total bust. Always good to have a trusty site or two as backups.
