Three and Counting?

As most of you have been following I have been having considerable luck with recovering French colonial coins, all dating to the 1690s. These coins are Louis XIIII 4 Sols and were used in the French colonies of North America contemporary to the date.

I'll be heading back to the field for an hour or so later this afternoon...hoping for #4!

Looking more and more like a purse loss or scattered hoard as silver searcher said. I would not be surprised if you find more Nice finds, congrats.

I did spend an hour there this afternoon and thought for a second that I had another. Turned out to be a flat button of similar size...still a lot of ground to cover so fingers crossed for at least one more...I'm not greedy!
