Re: Found GOLD in the BRADSHAWS

Nice. I found a gold seam along a piece of broken bedrock in a stream one time but the gold was paper thin like it had been plated. I also picked up a piece of quartz on C Street in Virginia City that had a decent silver clump and vein going through it. The darkness in the quartz beside the gold might be a silver salt.

Hope you marked where you found it. This might start a new "lost mine" legend.

:laughing9: :o :o
That is wicked cool!!!!!!!!
have you weighed it in water yet to get the actual gold weight?
If the Rock is 20lbs there could be 1-4 LBS of that stuff we hunt.
12,000.00 per lb woooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!

VERY VERY EXCELLENT FIND!

Nice chunk, I'd say it would be worth alot more, as a specimen left whole, than it would for only it's gold content.

Re: Found GOLD in the BRADSHAWS

definantly leave whole do not crush!!!!!!!worth a LOT more as a specimen!!!!!!!!!!!you could name your own price for that one!!!!it is definantly worth way more than the spot price for gold!!!!!!!!!several times over!!!!rock weight too!!!!!!!!there are formulas to figure the gold content!but with that much in matrix is phenominal!!!!!!!!museums would drool!!!and the owner of the nuggett in las vegas would definantly drool!!!i bet he would fly you out free just to see it!!!!
