Nice finds... The ring is definitely old. If you're finding 100 year old coins, why would a 100 year old ring be a surprise? You have a great spot you are hunting, for sure. Heck, there could be a gold coin out there! Congrats! :hello2:

A signet ring usually bears a coat of arms or personal seal, however it can bear ones family initials. These rings were generally worn by aristocricy or noble families in the late 1800's. The fancy lettering and design pretty much date it.

This ring is tiny. My girl has the smallest hands and it wouldn't fit on her baby finfer, so do you think its a babies ring?

It's a baby's signet ring. :D The initials are the baby's and probably from a well-to-do family.

There has been a lot of comments about history and this ring being old. Next friday is my monthly club meeting. I am considering submitting the gold ring for my jewelry find. Any suggestions on finding a source that proves the age range of the ring or is it just speculation? Also to prove its gold, would I have to get a metal tester or go to a jeweler, :icon_scratch:
