Today is my first anniversary at TreasureNet!

So I went to the old house by the big barn to celebrate! Of course I found the normal horseshoes and bullets. ;D And then I found another Tax token....this one is from Louisiana..so now I have Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana tokens. I found several regular pennies and three wheats. And I think the thing left/top is a weight of some sort. A zippo lighter a couple of buckles, two Lee snaps and two buttons--one has a bell on it and the words 'Bell Cord'? Part of a watch and a tag that has '31' on it. Something that looks like a miniature lip stick tube and then the thing on the bottom right maybe a bullet? Not sure about that one.

Thanks for tolerating me for a whole year! ;D

I've have learned so much...made great friends and had a fantastic time showing you all my junque! :D

Nana ;)

Thanks yall! I hope to get better at this.... ;D

Saber.... I think that they are aluminum.

Spike....I don't see a code on it....only the word Zippo on the bottom with what looks like dots before and after the word and maybe an 'R' in a circle?

Hunter.....good eye! ;D

What a great way to celebrate an anniversary. You've come a long way, baby!

I, for one, am so glad you're a part of Tnet. You make it a very special place to be.

Zippo is a company about 40 minutes east of my city.

.... zippo.... with patent # 2517191 ? is 1958

if ?.... zippo.... with patent # 2517191 patent pending c 1949 to 1957
there seems to be some confusion in codes from 1949 to 1957 ?;D

Hold the phone is that a slim line zippo or full size?

ok if slim line 1957or 1958

BTW: You can send it back to zippoand they will fix it for free ;D

Hope this helps

Well Nana, happy anniversary. We can finally fill you in on the details of tolerating you here. A bunch of us having been going to site where we electronically "draw straws" as to who had to respond to your latest nonsense. OHH how loathed the day when my name was drawn! :D :D Absolutely kidding, of course! I love the collaboration of insightful people we have here. Hmmm... I can't recall when I first showed up here. But you've got me TROUNCED on postings (I'm shy) . Nice to have you here Nana!

Neat find on the LA token. You've got me beat - I've got several AL and one MS but no LA! Great find! :) :) :)
