Found this small coin spill today on a construction site I have been hunting the last couple afternoons. Other finds from this site include a couple antique rings, one brass, one silver, a couple turn of the century buckles, indian heads, antique bottles, etc. Have not dug several OLD coins in one hole like this in a while. 2 silver wash. quarters, several wheats, & a couple of nickels which one I know is a buffalo, as you can see there is a coin stuck to one of the quarters & two of the pennies are stuck together, not real old, but still exciting to dig!!! Will post pics of them cleaned up later

Very awsome finds. Makes you wonder how much stuff is or has been destroyed at construction sites.

Great find!! Seeing those coins stuck together reminded me of a find that (unfortunately) I didn't find, but a fellow hunter here in S. Korea found. A total of 55 coins found........oldest being a very large Chinese coin dating into the 1100s. And there were
two groups of coins stuck together. All coins were the larger 2-mun/2-cash variety. They all dated into the 1700s. And there were some very desirable coins in that bunch. He found those coins on an old trail, up in the hills above Seoul, S. Korea. Find
was made in the 1980s, as I recall. (Always was very jealous about that find.....figured it should have been ME that found it.)

Good find, again. Show us some pics when you get them cleaned up.

THANK YOU!!! to everyone that replied!! Im still working on getting these coins cleaned, parts of my area are really harsh on coins, brass/copper, even silver. About the only way I can think to clean them is electrolysis which I do not like to use unless completely necessary :( So, I will post pics of them still, it just may take a couple of days :dontknow: THANKS AGAIN!!!!! C.
By the way, yes, they were kinda hard to tell that they were silver at first
