Was scouting out a new location to detect near a river in ct, that was the site of an old factory and ship yard. I decided to check a beach that has lots of old glass and pottery shards hoping to score some unusual glass. I walked no more than ten yards when I spied a shinny object. On closer examination it turned out to be a small 14 kt gold ring. It doesn't appear to be old but still a nice find. I guess i will be putting my detectors up for sale.

I was at a place in Baton Rouge the other day the place had hundred years of glass ion the shore an old ship yard. Too much metal to justify swinging the coil the only thing I could do was walk and look at all the glass.
