Managed to dig this out of a compacted gravel Rd, at a newer park. The land was donated to the city. The ground in this park is absolutely full of old paper shot gun shells. The brass primers are everywhere. Very hard to consentrate on anything, they come up as all different VDI numbers.
cool wartime silver... there are several THr's like those shotgun brass finds. Some of the older ones are very interesting.

I was given one of these by my Aunt as a kid back in the 70's (she was French-Canadian).

She said, "this one's special, it's real silver."

I'm sure i spent it on a Star Wars toy.

That's a pretty nice lookin coin ! I dug one of those on the downtown plaza - here in Santa Fe
New Mexico , imagine my surprise ! as we're not exactly a neighboring state to Canada . Argentium.
