Well today i brought my latest finds to my new friends house for I.d. ( i don't know how to get them to fit in my post, i tried 6 times and it keeps telling me under 1000 something ) anyhow I have found 2 brass buckels , a rosette with a large star, some flat buttons some with markings some w/o part of a powder canister,a coin (probably counterfeit George) an 1812 sash plate,1812 ordinance button,2 pewter spoons (mouth piece only) 2 silver spoons, a slave brick with hand print in it,and a few other things i cant remember what he said they were. soon as I can get this box of electrical doo dadds to work with me instead of against me I will post the pics.He told me I was in a really good spot because I'm finding these things it it probably a virgin spot. not bad for 3 months ( total of maybe 20 hours ) and a 20.00 detector I think it has already paid for itself. Thanks for listening good luck god bless SO MOTE IT BE

What that is telling you is you need to make the pictures smaller. I don't know what kind of program you have but if it's windows click on "fix" should bring up some options across the top. Then click on " paint" then "re-size" a box will come up that allows you to put in percentage numbers, try something like 75 in each. Then check to see how many "KB" the picture is. If it's under a 1000 then you can post it. I usually try for something under 200 so the size on the page isn't too big. Part of that number depends upon the picture quality too. It's trail and error. Good luck I would love to see this stuff.

Bedfordbob is right, if you right click the image & scroll down to "Open with", hopefully you will have Microsoft Office Picture Manager! You can resize the image in there to 600 wide & it will sort the height out itself ;) If not, use Paint but you do loose a little picture quality :icon_thumleft:
