Updated Bottles ,buckles, key found 6-18 ,19 more in posts . Monday 6-7-20 10 Found some flat buttons , & 1885 3 pence , Sunday " 6-6-10. Located , an early ,hole in the ground , home site on the other end of the field ,that has been working out for me since Feb. I was able to get some pictures of the location for you all . Bricks and stone are still nearby. Started sifting what looks like a trash pit . Near where I found some stuff Sunday I was able to dig some door hardware ..two colonial wrought iron handles and two coat hooks. Looks like the front door, of the place faced the southeast. More china, door hinges , door knob , horse shoes , square nails , a bone handle knife or what is left of it,some coins ..1802 Draped Bust Half cent and a 1798 Draped Bust cent in fair condition " extra crispy but date can be seen". The 1802 reverse side has great detail . Little toy pistol with broken barrel may be the oldest toy I ever dug . This thing is a very old and cool . Some buckles , pewter spoon , and clay marbles were sifted out of the back of the trash pit . Hopefully there is some more good stuff . CMDdawg , see ya .. :icon_pirat: http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,326065.0.html

The Diggity Dawg strikes again! :headbang: That half cent is a beauty, my friend. Keep searching that soil for copper goodies. They are plentiful in your county.

Wow those are some ultra nice finds, I am patina with envy especially on how clear the brush is there lol. Here in the great north if we are lucky to find a old foundation the brush (and ticks) are so thick you can hardly swing a coil not to mention having to keep an eye out over your shoulder for bears! Keep wowing us with those finds!

Sweet old coppers, looks like a good site. What do you use to keep the ticks off you, where I know they must be a huge problem?

Nice Half Cent, I'd scan that area slow since it looks fairly open and listen for those "blips" ;D
