Out and about for about 5 hours today.

First stop was a walk through the woods headed for a
now closed Boy Scout camp.

On the way picked up a bottle shard, no real I.D. yet
One side says "RYAN BOT"(BROKE HERE, resumes and ends) "KS".
"TRADE R.B.W. MARK"/ "CHICAGO".
Bottom side, "THIS BOTTLE NEVER SOLD OR ABANDONED"
Bottom has "R.B.W."

Boy Scout camp has been hunted heavy, but always stop by
if I'm in the area. Not much:spoon, pot cover, thingeee, "300
SAV" shell that is cut off, Sav is Savage, I think.

Also picked up the antler in the area. Nice.

Driving home could not help but stop at park for about
45 min, started to rain.

Picked up the two items, hair clip and necklace charm.
Washed off charm but was unable to really photograph.
It has a hologram of a baby picture and say, "In Loving
Memory" and "Laura Lynn".

No idea what it is made of (silver color), or how to clean up. Anyone
know if I could mess up the hologram if I tried to clean?

all have a good un.

Nice finds...that antler is nice ...you should be able to find the matching antler within a 100 yards of where you found the first one...

Civil,

I'm into artifact hunting more than coins and such. Spend a lot
of time out in the woods and always keep my eyes open this time
of year. Deer I saw yesterday and today still had racks so it must
just be starting here in Northern Illinois.

I did use my finely tuned hunting and tracking skills to get this one.
Honest to the Good Lord, I tripped on it ::) almost fell over.

Gypsy,

good information, thanks.

100 yards, think it would be like looking for the old needle in the
hay stack. Lots of dead wood, last Falls leaves, and such;
but, will put that bit of info in the back of my mind.

both of you have a good un...........

Glad you could get out Sherm,,
I like that antler, very nice... Not sure about the cleaning part. Most of the holograms I ever seen were on plastic? and the little ridges with two different images were separated and slanted somewhat. Neat find...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

Way to go, Sherm.
A great day ;)

I would go with warm water+mild soap only, for now.
It could be silver, tho. So maybe a soft cloth.
They do stuff like this on gold all the time.
( just guessing; can't see it)

ahhhhhhhhh........winter will soon be a momory ;D
