Found a super cool Horseshoe shaped "GOOD LUCK" brass lock

a buddy of mine and I traveled south to hunt some old houses with Ron in marysville. At the first place I got the 1918D wheat, superb shape, don't get much better dug than that. Also found the little red pin, and the button with the pearl colored stone...........

onto second place, I got a 3 penny spill, 2 wheats, 1924, and 1913, and a 1900 injun. One wheat was right ontop of the injun so it is green on the back and almost shiny brown on the face. Also dug the ugly faced dog in the plastic dome........have no clue what it is??

place 3 all I got was one item and it was the find of the day for me, super cool "Good Luck" horseshoe shaped lock. It was pretty corroded and cleaned up pretty decent. I am real happy with that find.

I dug one of those jewel thingies like yours , just recently.
Mine is an Amethyst stone.

Cool old lock, Terry. Too bad we didn't find more than what we did with all the old houses. The heat and 10 hour's of digging was tearing me down as well. Thanks again for comming down with Dan and spending the day. We'll do it again sometime in the future. Regards, Ron

wouldn't be much of a paper weight, it is only slightly larger than a quarter and weighs less than 2 ounces

Cool lock I found one awhile back but missing the locking arm. Believe they stopped making them early 1900's.

correct, not much bigger than a quarter, just checked and it is a tad smaller than a half dollar
