$.20 cents, & a Small Handgun...

Well, this is definitely a first for me. I was out for about an hour yesterday. Found two newer dimes, and this small handgun. Not sure what caliber is was, but it says it's " Made in Germany ", and has an emblem on both handles that read, , " Remo "... I handed it over to a local police officer that frequents the area, I didn't want any part of it... :o

The officer tried to pull back the slide on it, but it was too filled with dirt, and/or rust, to move, so we're not sure if it was loaded, or not...

Hope ya all got out and had some luck,,, Leon...

Nice find Leon! I bet you were surprised to dig a gun up. I hope the police officer didn't freak out when you pulled the gun out. ;D.

Good job Leon! Turning that in was the right thing, even if it may not turn out to be anything. I hope your next find is worth a lot more, and keepable! HH!

That looks like a tear gas gun. I tried to look up a picture but couldn't find one that matches. I had one as a kid that I used as a toy. It was lots of fun! It looked very real. It would burn my nose if sniffed the barrel. ;D

Nice find there Leon. You did the right thing by turning it in.

Now if I ever find an old black powder revolver, well, that puppy is going home with me.
