... I drove to the local beach instead. ;D

Quite nice outcome, althou no rings or that kind of stuff.

The find was:
130.50 Danish Kroner ~ $24.66
10 Eurocent, Holland ~ $0,14
1 Euro, Germany ~ $1.41
and....
Very strange:
1 AUSTRALIAN Dollar ~ $1,02

So all in all coins in a value of $27.23
Not bad at all, in my opinion.
Here the coins:

And here a photo of the Australian Dollar.
A VERY unusual beach find in my country.

Yes, but it was real cold and windy today.
But when you got a good warm coat on ... no problem ! ;D
Windy weather of the past two days had moved out a lot of sand, and made the conditions just perfect for good finds.
I found all those coins in less than 2 hours.

Mange tak min Dansk Ven!

Jeg elske Danmark!

I lived in Kobenhaven for 3 years, as an apprentice Chef at what used to be the "Hote Scandinavia" on Amager Blvd.

Had GREAT time and made many life long friends......but what do I miss the most.......TUBORG GRON!!!!

And the hot dogs (polsor) at Radhusplasden!!

I found one relic while I was there near my house in Svanemollen, a nice pipe bowl.

Har det godt!
Robert

Yes, I told you guys to get rid of the $ bills and get coins like here. Makes the beach hunting much more fun. :headbang:
Largest coin in Denmark is 20 kroner ~ $3.78 :icon_sunny:
That´s the large yellow ones on the right in the photo.
Smaler ones are 10 kr.
Large with hole is 5 kr.
Smal ones with hole 2 and 1 kroner.

PS: To answer your danish question:
An ice cream would be between 10 and 25 kroner depending on the size of it ;D

Thanks Dane,

The dollar coin has been tried several times without much success. Maybe a $5 coin would do better :D

Read about the old Danish viking era farm (year 750-1000) found and escavated south of Roskilde. Are you still hunting your viking site?

Too cold for ice cream? :laughing7:

Yes, the ice cream season is over here too. First frost in the air this evening.
I read about that viking era farm too, interesting place. It was escavated because they wanted to widen out a highway on the spot, I think.
