June 9 relic finds. Tsgman

Got a early start this morning and hunted for about 3 hours. It was really hot but I had a nice breeze. I found what I think is a Civil War era hammer/hatchett combo. I also dug three 69 caliber bullets and some other small caliber bullets. The ground was almost as hard as concrete so the recovery was slow, but I had fun. Tsgman

TSG, those are some very interesting finds you have there.... I would hate to be the person swinging that hammer... looks very solid.... What part of the cat did you pick up on the detector? Did it swollow something..... cut it open, might be a gold ring in there
