Got out early this morning so I could beat the heat. Met Tony (another forum member) in one of the nearby towns. Decided to hunt an old school yard built during the WPA period. Finds were meager, but still enjoyed myself. I am gussing my clad was somewhere around $3.00 and got a total of 6 keepers. Found my first silver at less than an inch -- the 1964 dime was in the wood chips just on the surface -- some kid must have raided his dad's silver stash.
