Depends on what part of Washington State a person is from. My daughter is from
the Spokane area.....she needs snowshoes or a dog sled..... :laughing7:
And if you're from the wet side, several canoes will get you through the rainy season.
I grew up in the dry side of Oregon....eastern.....lived in Salem area, and did not like it.....
had to call my kids every now and then just to check and see if there was still a sun in the sky......
rain and rain and rain.......depressing.......but those who grew up there love it.
Now in S. Korea, and working on thawing my old bones out.....it has been a long, cold one here.
Good hunting......when you can get to it......

Well, it could happen with the local history but is is only a remote possibility. I got out for a few minutes today as well in Tacoma and found a few clad and some blank brass and other trash. Nothing of note, but I got to swing the MD. There are some places NW of Port Orchard I want to get to. HikeinMts, I have done the cold winter in S. Korea...three times. In 1997, this week it was almost 30 deg below 0 at the DMZ. Coldest I have ever been in the field. Good luck.

Keep swinging...

RFrady, or anyone wearing the uniform.....if you get to S. Korea, let me know you are coming.....and I will get you up in the
hills, and we will do some "Korean-style" THing. Lots of fun.....if you don't count the occasional meetup with an angry wasp,
or wild pig, or snake or two in the hole you are diggin.....:)
Seriously, been doin it here for 30+ years, and have taken many up into the hills......ain't lost anyone yet.
Let me know when you are coming, and where you will be stationed. And, we'll work out plans to get up into the hills.
