Returned to the field we started last week. It was raining & the wind had turned cold but nothing we weren't used to, including the ultra sticky field :P 5 Hours (10 man hours)

15 Roman Bronze Coins
1 Roman Silver 4th C Siliqua :icon_thumright:
Livery Button
A nice 13th Century Annular Buckle :)

Star find by me on the last run of the day was a 6th Century Saxon Brooch :o :icon_thumright:

Bearing in mind last year we only had 11 Roman Coins off this field in several trips, we were pleased to see the deeper plough had helped 8)

Cru, your finds never cease to amaze me. I have said it before, but if
I lived there I don't think I would ever sleep or eat, I would probably
OD on metal detecting. Congratulations you lucky dog.
The history you save is truly amazing.
