Hit the snow piles at the Mall today! UPDATE on "In Store Credit" card!

I decided the snow piles at the mall had melted enough this past week that they might finally produce something for me. As my last two attempts hadn't produced anything of interest. I managed to find .32 cents and the customary trash that always seems to be attracted to these piles of snow. I also found a set of car or truck keys (Ford & Dodge), a cut padlock and a small clip-on button that reads "I think I will call him Mini-Bush"! I have no idea what that means! :laughing7:

One of my most interesting finds was an "In Store Credit" card for a store called Jysk - Bath*Bed*Home. When I found it I thought, "somebody wouldn't carry an In Store Credit card around with them unless it had a credit on it!" So when I got home at 5pm I called the store, but they had already closed for the day! I'll give them a call again tomorrow at 10am and will post an update if there's any significant amount on the card. :icon_thumright:

I hope it's thousands, but with my luck it'll probably have a balance of ZERO! :laughing9:

Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting! :hello:
Dave

UPDATE

I decided to personally go down to the JYSK store this morning. I thought, while I'm here I might as well get a few things. So I proceeded to the cash with my purchases and handed the cashier my "In Store Credit" card. After ringing through my purchases she say, " you have $3681 left on your card sir" and I said "THIRTY-SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS?!". Then she said, "no sir, thirty-six dollars and eighty-one cents!

I thought . . . "well it's better than getting hit in the head with a metal detector"! :laughing7:

HH,
Dave

Thanks RJH. The snow started falling here in early November, so the plows at the mall have been adding to it steadily over the past 4 months!

Thanks for your comments Hispan, this is all I can do when the ground is frozen until spring comes.

I'd love to find a CZ! In stead all of our Canadian pennies up here register the same as foil! Makes for a very interesting hunt. :tongue3:
