Today I met up with my buddies Kyle (Nooberz) and Jaime. We headed to an old section of town and started hunting the curb strips. Did pretty well.

Managed to find a nice load of wheats, oldest was 1914, ...and 4 silver coins:
1943P war nickel, 1939 Merc, 1906 Canadian dime, and a 1901 barber dime.

I simply cannot believe I dug ANOTHER old canadian dime, especially after digging the 1899 just yesterday....wow, very cool Made my day!

and of course the day wouldn't be a G4E day without an indian.....1905
that is indian #15 for the year. Hunting curbs is a lot of fun! :hello2:

Kyle and jaime both scored silver and indians as well, I'll let them tell their story....

I have always wanted to try some of our old sidewalks that have the limestone walls beside them downtown. I wonder if I would get in trouble?
As always another good post. Thanks for sharing

Very nice! Those Canadian dimes are certainly scarce in these parts; I found one or two, but not close to that old. A large cent, on the other hand...

Well done. I have thought of doing that sort of hunt in our historic district. Only way to find out if I would ruffle feathers is to try it. Plan on doing so soon. Did anyone give you a hard time about your hunting? Ahhhh, I'll go to lowes and get a hard hat and yellow vest and try that....
