Thanks to everyone who responded to my post on which metal detector to go with. I ended up going with a Ace 350 and I've had it about 2 months now. So far I've been hitting parks and while I'm still not making $$$ like a bandit, it is fun as all get out. Think I'm up to about $3 in change and various junk. Took my friend Joe out Sunday and let him try it. Guess he's hooked cause he just bought himself a Fisher today. I think the order of business this Saturday is to hit an old oil camp.

Great job, you'll find alot of neat things along the way and plenty of them that will make you go, "humm, how did that get here?" This site has a wealth of info and many nice people.

Happy Hunting and keep us informed of your finds, I look forward to it.
