Asian miniature

My father had given this to me about 10 years ago. He said it was given to him by a woman that traveled to Asia in the late 60's early 70's and broght this back. It is 1 inch tall and I am unsure what it is made of.

I do not know what it is made of. It is a mother carrying her baby. In South Korea it is called Abuba, when they carry the baby on there back.

If you look closer it is of a man and woman embrasing each other. Can you tell me what it is?
