I went to a different field this time, looking at an old wall... very hot these days here :icon_sunny:

I was swinging and this cool military plane flew very low, very nice, Chopper base nearby.

I found this amazing bell, I dont know if its partially silver... :icon_scratch: looks religious.

Also lots of very old coins.

One nice military button, and one what is it, long and leaf decoration, dosent look very old though
And one Roman Pin, for coats, and a pretty buckle.

Thanks for looking

Silver;

Thanks a lot for the first reply. :hello2:

I think we post here because its the only forum that works well, easy to use, good logical system. Plus its the only one like this.

I like it, although lots of Americans are only impressed by their coins and artifacts its just because thats what they are used to.

You know in my country its difficult, plus I love to see finds from all over.

One questions, how do I know if the bell is silver?

Cheers

The bell looks like tombac, or maybe a high quality pewter. Interesting design on it, most are just plain.

Great bell Nutria :icon_thumleft:, what is the bar thing in picture 5?.
As for the amount of replies, it could be down to the time difference. I have only just now had the time to look at Tnet my self. When this thread was posted at 3.40pm my time, I think it would have been 10.40am on the east coast, earlier on the west coast, so maybe more people will reply this evening when they get home from work.

Anyway, great finds mate

Onna counta 'cause we are all working or detecting over here at that time!

If I had seen it I would have commented especially since I like the bells. Of course hammered, nearly ancient coins are always nice to look at, even if they weren't dug up in Merry Ol' England. :laughing7: :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:
Great haul there Nutria. I probably would have dug a bucket of iron myself. Usually nothing that striking comes out of my dug holes!

This is a First Rate finds post! The coins are amazing--and of course, the bell is the reall star of the show. Any idea of the age of the bell?

Regards,

In the bell you see a pilgrim ... could be the 17th or 18th century and Tin is made of high quality.
Bomber That sure was heading to Libya ... Today's field is near the military base of Torrejón? :icon_scratch: beware.!
