1878 Paris World's Fair medallion?

First, sorry for the bad pics...I found this at the site where I found the Draped Bust and lightly cleaned it to get some detail and this is what I've managed to decipher off of it more or less. Please forgive any errors I make and blame it on bad soil conditions...On the front appears to be a seated woman with the word "PARIS" beneath her. Her arms are outstretched to the left and right clutching two different items. Also, she has what appears to be some sort of wheel(?) by her left foot and at the top are two words. The first is too worn to make out and the second appears to be Francais(?).
On the back it roughly spells out something to the effect of...Souvenir de la feve, del recompenses, universelle de Paris, 1878, 21 October.

Hmmm,
I would venture that you have a souvenier award medal.
the missing word would be re-puh-blee, I mean Republique,
I was given a similar item from the 92-93 Chicago Worlds Fair
by my friend Dave (Antiquarian)
Hundreds of different medals were sold by vendors, rarity & value can differ greatly.
Good news is that I can't find any with a seated figure as you describe.
(as with the Chicago example I have)
Hope you got a rare one

Thanks Steel, I can't find it either. I found it right next to a monogrammed luggage tag so I thought maybe somebody took a trip to Paris in 1878 and lost a couple things when they set their luggage down(?).
