7-26 YAHoooooo I got it! 1 of my goals. It's a coin. 7-27 Cement was poured.

I 've been saying that one of my goals this year was to find a "BARBER" and return a RING to an owner..
I reached one of them today . I got my BARBER.
Always expect the unexpected.
The sidewalks and driveway areas are torn up down the street. I have hit them a couple of times only to find
some wheaties and a lot of clad. All the homes are from late 50's to mid 60's so I don't expect to find anything really good.
I was in an area of where a driveway was torn out 18 inches below the grass .
The coin was 1/2 inch in the clay... THE UNEXPECTED. Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought about getting
a Barber in the area I was hunting....


GOTTA LOVE THIS HOBBY!!!!!Today7-27 8 inches of Cement was poured over the spot where the coin was found yesterday 7-26

Setting goals is important, acheiving those goals is so rewarding & it builds character! I am willing to help you acheive your goals, I am more than willing to help build your character Bob! Congratulations on your find. I found a Barber quarter a month ago and was super-stoked. I guess I really got lucky because it seems that I spend more time reading this forum than I do detecting. I hope you find my class ring that I lost 15 years ago....
