I like the little "winder" thingy....cool find!! It was a tough morning but at least we had good weather and a good lunch....LOL!!

Maybe the dog tag belonged to "D. Herndon". I wonder if this was one of the fund raiser promotionals like the mini license plate key fob "drop in any mail box" promotions of the early '60s and before.

Thought the same but because it's only Half,
I Figure his last name may have been on the Right Half.

& Herndon is a Neighboring Town.

Although many of the towns there
are named after their popular Residence last names.

But you may be Right, there would be alot of space between D
& the right Half

& Yes I'm also Guessing
Disabled American Veterans gave them out
for donations.

I Can't confirm Watch Turn though.
