decided to go looking for scrap metals, didnt find junk tho.
i found a ladies 14 k pocket watch by waltham, a mans elgin rolled gold plated, a sterling silver ladies wrist watch dated 1924 with emeralds and a saphire, and a 70s model caravelle pocket watch for a man not gold but has a 17 jewel swiss movement, a 1922 silver peace dollar a 1967/69 silver halves then some 70s halves and 2 70s dollar coins. i have no clue why they trashed this stuff but ill take it. i think an older person passed and they just threw everything in the garage out. oh and anothe stainless watch and a $2 bill. ill take a haul like this any day while out junking lol

i dont get it either, arent you supposed to go through a loved ones belongings after they pass? and this was in a bad area of town. i filled the bed of my truck with buckets and buckets of tools and other misc.

That is one sweet haul you pulled. The best I even done coin wise was the complete bronze readers digest presidential coin collection. That gold pocket watch was a score and a half! congrats! Nice peace dollar too!

nah , it was just a cleanout ,and i happened to be the one who got there first you wouldnt belive some of the stuff i have got while out junking, some people just dont care, and it was a hot night so they probably just said to heck with it and pitched it all, and it cost them around $1000 just between the sterling watch and the gold watch . i love lazy people HH
