I had to post this. I have hunted with guys and have them find halfs where I have taken them but no luck for me. Yesterday hunted an old church yard that has been torn down and I have hunted this area alot as well as others. Not sure how this got by but glad it did. My next target is a V nickel. Got the 1000 peso shortly before the half and thought I had one then untill it came out of hole. Used a ML Safari with 11" pro coil. It was only 3" deep.

SWEET find! Congrats. I've yet to find one. I took a friend of mine to one of my hot spots one time. He pulled a barber half from the spot. I'm still waiting to find an old half.

Very nice finds, unfortunately, that's an old peso (1989), in the early 90s the peso was devalued by a factor of 1,000, so it's value as money is less than one tenth of a cent. Worth more than that as scrap metal probably.

Nice Score!!! I have been lucky enough to find a few, and the feeling you get when it comes out of the ground is hard to explain...I know you were feeling real good..Looks like you found a good site to hunt for awhile.
