Is it is very dry here and the ground is so hard, the amount of good targets are down... its effecting how much we find, signals are so erratic. We went to a new site at least for us... and all we came away with is a few coins 2 of them wheats 1941 and 1913... and this little trinket... it looks old... its gold plated... but what gets me is all the cuts on look how precise they are and how many they are. This little heart pendant is the size of your little fingernail.
Anyone have any info they can pass on? any jewelery experts out there?

no marking on the heart...
I was thinking its not plastic, because it came out of the ground just like this...
without light its black looking...
I am guess its 50 to 75 years old... maybe more
did they cut glass like that that long ago or is it a modern cut?
or is it something else?
there are no chips or major scratches... just the small ones you see in the picture

it is very little... I was shocked that what I got the signal from... maybe there was something else there... it was late and I was too tired from digging in this hard dry soil I didn't re check that hole very well... I'll have to re scan the pendant with my detector to see if it rings up like I thought it did when I found it. Either way it is a neat little find.

Thanks...
