Hello T. Net friends! :hello:
Today have been six hours of hunting in the area furthest from the valley of vineyards, wanted to trace the remote limits for the future visits.
with a good two fields that I hunt got first Medieval buckle plate with the figure of a Woman :hello2: :hello2: :hello2: (look at the shoes with pointed toes ..... it's amazing), this piece is my best find anthropomorphic of the Middle Ages, and later the ring with the stone still embedded (I think this ring is the 17th century ... but I'm not sure) at the end of the day appeared the coin of Emperor cucumber face ... :laughing7:
Not to much heat that the sky was cloudy but the rain did not come when you reach the furthest point of the valley, I visited a very nice small river, near a medieval castle and eat grapes ...
H
Update 30 July of 20011:
The buckle plate is identified as a Book Clasp , a Medieval Book closure piece .

That is a stunning classic image you might only see on a manuscript or Bible from the Medieval period. Very cool, not seen a buckle plate quite like it :notworthy:

For me the best are Silver Searcher (good Finds and photos) and Crusader ( good finds and hard work )..... I'm just an apprentice in Spain :tongue3: .... But I need a new camera and a new detector, Perhaps at Christmas.
You and Shaun also do well ...

Hi Dave ! :hello:
The first is a horse lead toy ,to 19th century on early in the 20th ... in my city some of the best factories of these toys ... but nothing major.
And the second is a thimble 17th century , very nice but is broken on one side.

We be fair ... you know that no T-Net to make two banners in one month ... I'm satisfied I can show my findings here.
I do not want to take the next banner belongs to you ..

Hi Cru ! :hello:
The circumstances of discovery were very special ... This piece appeared in the field further from the city, in the field had fragmented human bones and medieval pottery, which means that it was a place of Medieval Necropolis unfortunately destroyed by farmers and later the whole field altered of trash .... This was discovered in the 10% soil without altering , and appeared bent plate in three parts, I had to straighten and remove the patina that was left that was very ugly ... this plate is in the process of restoration ..... etc. All plates buckled in my collection are medieval with naturalistic representations of animals or flowers, no human representations have you ..... keep you informed.
