My first Seated Liberty of the year!

It only took nine months but I finally pulled a seated out of the water. I have been finding alot but not posting much. I have some catching up to do. How do I get the rust off without damaging the coin? I found my last seated quarter about 10 years ago so I'm glad that drought is over. Thanks for looking! DD.

very nice seated....i only dug one in all my years....i know you didnt find that in the susquahanna which is now 20 feet or so above flood stage.....nice find...

Oxalic acid will remove the rust, but I don't know what it does to silver, so test it with a 1964. Or somebody here will chime in and say "DON"T DO OXALIC ACID".
