After seeing all these amazing finds posted up this morning, I kinda feel bad for taking up space to post mine. :P Seems we haven't been hunting as much as usual, but still absolutely love the time spent detecting when I do get the opportunity go.
I hunted with the Cullman gang one Sunday afternoon and the other two hunts my buddy Lisa and I went out. It's been a bit chilly at night but the days warm up enough to make one a bit ancy about moving back all those leaves in the woods. :-X Let's hope the snakes are gone! :icon_pirat:
While out hunting with the Cullman gang, Charlie was out with the camera....

:laughing7: I attached this pic for NC relic hunting buddies....

And here's my finds.....

I don't know about the piece on the right in the pic. Keeper or no? :dontknow: I hated to throw it out without knowing...

Have a great weekend! I look forward to dinner with some of my hunting buddies this evening. Wish you were here, WSD! :)

Nana :hello:

That Charlie makes some good pics Nana. You had a fun hunt and got some real goodies. By the way, MM said that P.O.D. button stands for "Pretty Old Dame"-LOL. WTG Southern Belle and HH, Quindy.

Hey Nana, good digs there! I really like that token....and the the button stands for "Post Office Dept." ...I know that because I found one like it a couple months back and it was indentified by the knowledgeable folks in the "What is it?" forum.

LMAO!!! Don't listen to Quindy Nana, as you know he's always trying to get me in trouble. :violent1:
Now if he posted that POD button it would stand for "Petrified Old Dude". :laughing9:
Tell Sir Charles "thanks" for the awesome photos. Beautiful area. What was the postman doing in the woods anyways? :icon_scratch: Must have been on lunch. ;D
I like that suspender clip with what looks to be a deer (?) on it. Congrats on the CW lead and of course the token young lady. :hello2:
Did you take your Alabama GPS out there with you so you wouldn't get lost? I'm sure the folks on Tnet would love to see a picture of that hi tech GPS you have. :laughing9:
Great hunt Nana. Have a Happy Thanksgiving,
Dug

My Dearest Brad,
That's NOT what MM told me! :icon_scratch: I think he said something like, "Petals On Dresses"? :tongue3: :laughing7: (read your last e'mail from him)

Thanks Judie! We did have a great time! :icon_thumright:

Thanks, TATH! :hello:

Thanks Getty! Yes, there is a tad left on there. Wasn't as difficult to clean up as most buttons I find around here. :)

Thanks, OleKy. :)

Thanks Herbie. I thought the duck button was pretty neat. Here's a better pic of it for you. Fingers crossed to find a LC this year!! ;D
100_3141.JPG

Thanks, HMN. :)

Aw! Thanks, Sniffer! :)

Thanks Antiq! The heart is the back half of a pendant. I didn't find the other half of this one. I have however found both pieces of a similar heart pendant at a different site. Thought it was neat to be able to find both. :)
100_3148.JPG
Thanks Burt. Hope you're feeling better. :)

Ah, yes. The handy dandy Alabama GPS. We have already enjoyed the benefits of this fabulous gift, MM. Why, Charlie took it with him on his trip thru the NE just last week. And did you know, the toll for traveling over the Hudson bridge was $12! Good thing he had that spare toll money you sent him! I'm sure he would have been trapped in NYC for days without it! PS...I think your flowerdy dresses are the best. ;D

Have a great week, ya'll!!
