The best of finds from the past several hunts, in no order. First is a 1931 silver 1 Gulden coin from the Netherlands/Holland, obverse. Legend reads Wilhelmina, Queen of the Netherlands. She must be Queen Beatrix’s mother.
Reverse of the 1931.
Some of the lead finds, I particularly like the spindle whorl, could be 4-6 hundred years old.
I think this is the bust of Hitler on the obverse of this aluminum pin.
Reverse of Hitler pin, top reads Der Fuehrer Dankt, 1935, Amtlich and a few letters I can’t make out.
A few relics, two brooch type pins, a ring that the stone fell out of when I dug it and Christ holding a child.
Obverse of a nice little 1744 silver.
Reverse of the 1744.
Obverse of an 1824 silver.
Reverse of the 1824
An exciting coin find, obverse of a 1637 silver 2 Kreutzer from Augsburg. A pine cone divides the date in the middle. The coin was completely coated with a crusty light brown patina and I had no idea what it was. Took about 2 hours of short dips into silver cleaner to remove it.
Reverse of the 1637, sorry about the bad picture. A double headed eagle with a 2 in the middle.
An aluminum badge commemorating German Labor Day, date of 1 May 1936, a hammer and sword to the right, a plow under the date and a German Eagle holding a swastika.
Reverse of the badge, I can make out the word Creussen, a town nearby. Thanks for looking and HH, Mike
