Hey Guys I'm Back: Last Couple Hunts of the Year

What's been going on guys? I've not been on alot in the past couple of months because Graduate School has been keeping me so thoroughly busy I've not had time for doing much ofANYTHING between the Projects and workload (I know my friend BuckleBoy can relate ) But I'm glad to say that the semester is over and I'm back! I have taken the opportunity inbetween everything to write a couple of articles, I'll have a spread in an upcoming addition of North-South Trader Magazine as well as an upcoming article in American Digger titled "Finding and Digging Virgin CW Sites in SE Virginia" so look out for those. Also, pictured below are my finds from my last two digs including some of my finds from Culpeper, some Eagle Buttons, Spencer Gun tool and Cartridge, etc. and the buttons and pipes I dug from last weekend's outing. Now that I'm done with school for the time being, I'll be out hitting the dirt hard once more. It's good to hear from you guys and I wish everyone a Happy New Year, hope it'll be a prosperous year for you all in life and Relics! Here's my finds:

I sure can relate! Been back at it beating the dirt this past week myself too. Was trying to rake in a CW plate before 2012 and couldn't do it. Had a dry year on CW plates for the first time since 2005.

Oh well.


You've done really well. We need to catch up soon, my friend. I'm headed on a trip to do a bit more hunting later on this week. Fingers crossed for a fine mess of relics and old coins.

Ya, I felt like I've been locked away in a dungeon, man it was a tough couple months....glad its through for a few weeks until it starts back up....but I've made it through the toughest period. Thanks Joey, Richmond's only about an hour and fifteen from me, we'll have to do some diggin' this year

More like "ANTS" in my "Pants" after being 'book bound' for several months. Thanks Doug, I agree pipes are one of my favorite things to dig...I mostly find them in privy and construction sites, filled in Wells, or in the huts. Thanks buddy, they will be in upcoming issues this Spring! Happy New Year my friend
