Went back into the woods on the back of our property that I have detected many times. Was able to get into some deep scrub area since we have had some frost. Found a large cent that is either 1797 or 1807. Can only read the last seven. Also a couple of musket balls and a button. Thanks for looking....Lance

Very nice finds and I think I can see a 18?? on that LC. Another great article in the W&E magazine, always enjoy your write ups in the magazine and that article will be very useful coming this winter! Sorry to hear you have already had a frost, we have several more weeks before it starts to frost over thank goodness! HH, Mike

Comfy....nice finds and its nice having some good hunting right in your back yard. FROST? Already??..Been cold here but no frost yet, the salt water keeps the temps up, damn that means our season is shortening up fast..:(:( Oh well, just think of all the wonderful things the frost is gonna lift up for us to dig next spring...:):)

Nice Large Cent. Third one of those in the last maybe 10 days. Maybe I'll find one next. ;) I like those Draped bust ones better than the coronet head type. :)
