Another Mill site...UPDATE~1792 Camac Kyan & Camac Dublin Halfpenny,LC,etc...
Hey everyone,
Hit up a new mill site today for a bit and had a nice little hunt. I got an iffy signal in the range of a shotgun shell and out popped a worn copper to my surprise and I'm not sure what it is. Out of the ground it rang a solid 18 on my machine which is low for a copper making me think it's a counterfeit but I'm not sure, the last William III I pulled rang up in that range. The obverse is toast so I posted the best image I could come up with which appears to be a seated woman with some lettering visible near the edges. The letters
are tough to make out and part of the date is visible, looks a bit like 1701 but that's just a meager guess. Other than that I scored another toasted fattie, a toasty 1817 LC and
a frock/dandy button. Thanks for looking and HH everyone! ~~~~UPDATE~~~~ Thanks to Iron Patch's impressive coin ID'ing skills the mystery is solved! Thanks again IP and everyone for their input and comments as well, HH all.
