this was about a week ago i finally got around to posting it.
got about a dollar in clad then came up on a spot where i was getting targets all around this 2 square foot spot when i dug it up it was 2Q 2D 4P an this nice suprise a 1908 barber all of these coin were 1 inch deep and in a spot i always go over witch means someone lost it there with in the year

Great job, that's a very non-typical woodchip find! Thanks for sharing. I've pulled some strange things from wood chips, but never a silver coin. Congratulations on the find.

You don't find many Barbers in the wood chips, great find man.

you never know what kids wil lose in those chips. i usually wait until the ground freezes before i go chipping. maybe i need to get out there sooner this year!

very nice for wood chips. i have put in a looooooooot of hours in chips, and the most interesting find for me was a cell phone buried. had the ace 100 so i dug it. with the new gti 1500 probably would have missed it. nice going. gf2 in tx
