Me and Christopher

I took advantage of the nice day and spent a couple of hours detecting at nearby Rock Rimmon a locally famous glacial outcropping that overlooks the city. While coin hunting at the base of the cliff a third grader, Christopher, who lived nearby joined me in the hunt.

I with my $600 machine uncovered a bunch of junk and one 1996 dime while my young companion without high tech equipment
found a 1977 quarter just laying on the ground a couple of feet away. Way to go Christopher.

I a 71 year old and Christopher a 9 or 10 year old had a great time hunting together.

I remember having a good experience as a kid with my dad the few times he pulled out his old detector. I bought him a new one for father's day 20 years later...and I've been using it ever since!
