While searching for new sites, I decided to
go over the Department of transportation maps from 1946 again
and today I decided on this former Grove
so I ran over and started looking for the property owner.
seemed everywhere I drove I saw this woman mowing grass.
first at the cemetery, then at the driveway to the owner of the properties house So I
introduced myself & She gave me permission.
saying there was rumor this was a church grove for this 1831 Church
before I Left she said she would like to see what I Find,
so I Promised her I'd be back & headed over
Place appears to be loaded with a carpet of Poison
& I was being watched
by Killer Cows from Outer Space
Needless to say, this place did not have any Gas rebate.
the grove was gone by the late 60's
Got some Garbage
4 Wheats
1912 1919 one with a heavy crust, and one too damaged to get a date
a Valve stem remover cap
a Half Pint Milk Bottle from
MAURER'S WAYSIDE DAIRY
MT. CARMEL PA
and 7 indians
1887 - 1889 - 1891 - 1895 - 1897 - 1900 and 18?9
went back over showed her my finds, told her I Couldn't believe
I didn't find any silver, but would be back between
late fall & early Spring to try again.
Have to wait for the poison to die off.
Not sure IF I Got any sap on me or not.
but was sweating & Rubbing my eyes allot
which worried me enough to quit early
