Thank you.. I've just signed up. I started metal detecting only a few months ago and have been overjoyed with the finds. None really valuable but the idea of their age and use is amazing. Never thought I'd love it this much

Yes I can't wait to get back on the site... I spotted a grave stone at the top of a hill overlooking the Castle. So that field I'd gonna get a good going over.

Lol... Great advice.. I'll keep it in mind next time I'm driving with a drink in one hand and a metal detector in the other

Also the Dandy Button you have (the large one) is circa 1770s & that coin/token I have never heard of, interesting.
