long day
stared out at a few different places
rained
lost my cheapo knee pads
had to go buy a new set splurged and got a good carpenters pair like them lots
ended up relic hunting at a dump thats an easy hike close to the road nothing stellar
had to go pick up the lady at work at 1 pm
so dropped her off then headed out to"the barber shop"
rain had stopped and sun poped out for a few minutes so i had to make a break for it!!!
this spot has been pretty good for coins (tons of trash)
got there at 2 pm
had 1 hour and 45 minutes to get it dug(had to pick up the kid from work)
at 3.44 i got one more "good signal" at about 3 inchs
it was a little spotty but good 3 ways after X'ing it
dug down hit a 2 inch root right off
pulled out the root saw
the the signal POPED
with a slight broken to the side of it
first this poped out(hence the broken tone)

i was like "OH DRAT"
then these sweeties were laying in the "whole" (hence the solid tone)
then the cell rang and had to go home
talk about at the wire!!!!

Beautiful! I love the ""Barber Shop"" Part! My reason is I have to work late, so I can go to the park (next door to work) for 15-20 min. !

Very Nice!

I am curious about how someone lost a purse in the early 20th century. Did you find it at a homestead? An old park? Schoolyard?

If it was anything BUT a homestead, it could have bolonged to a victim of foul play. I might even check old local newspapers from 1905-06 to see if there was any crime committed on the site around that time.

Just a hunch!

Congratulations, you lucky dog!! Don't you know that lady got a tongue lashing when she got home for losing the beer money.

Mike

That same little old lady may come knockin, looking for that purse, with a powerful thirst on. Deny all knowledge, unless she is one spectacular looker and will share the beer! Nah, deny all knowledge - we got your back!
