Hi All < Got up at 5 am as the day was again going to be really out . Headed out the Northern plains where there's little shade .Most of the large gum trees are not much chop as far as shade goes. So by 10am i pulled the pin . happy to have a productive hunt . The ground is so dry that large cracks are appearing in the paddocks. I tried my luck around an old sheep shearing pen and bunk house . best luck was near a pile of scattered bottles from the the 1930's . Found a silver plated spoon which i believe was as a gift for a new born at church baptism ? A whistle which was used to command sheep dogs .
