My metal detector doesn't want babies

Me and my son Connor went out today for three hours. The only thing we found were these condoms for 1920-1940's. seriously? The only coins we found are condom "koins"

No. Sad thing is we were swinging an old iron furnace from 1790. This was in its shadow. We found virtually nothing except beer cans and pull tabs. The area has been flooded too many times to count and is covered with slag so it's hard to get good targets. We found some of the original sand castings buried almost two feet down. My AT Pro actually signaled them faintly. These were found about six inches down.
