I have been to busy to post for the last six hunts. The Fields Of Legend are still giving up small pockets of relics. It seems when all is silent you find these little areas that have been missed. My best day was 7 large cents, 1 copper, 1 seated, and a beautiful 1760 2 reale, right at the end of my hunt. 115 buttons total for the six hunts, 3 blowhole buttons, one nipple button, World War 1 button, War of 1812 Navy, tax collectors or Navy cutter button in the best shape of all the buttons that I have recovered from the fields. 12 large cents, 2 half cents, 2 coppers, one a 1670s Charles II Scotland Bawbee(sixpence Scott) ID by, Bramblefind, 8 Indians, 1 V nickel, 1 Barber dime, 2 seated dimes, and a Spanish 2 reale. 2 watch winders, 1 clog clasp, two thimbles, the largest bail seal I have dug. A square ½ oz. trade weight, lead figure holding a doe or lamb, and a baggage tag and lots of littles.

:o:o That field has all the lost good stuff  Krazy Kool , is it farmed ??

What's up with the coin date timeline , from KG's to Coronets

Seem to skip over liberty caps & draped bust coins .:icon_scratch:

I agree with Bill Va , hit it again , after a deep plowing it will give up many more .

Art 's killin' it :notworthy:

Amazing finds. I would like to find a thimble for my wife. She is a quilter and does sewing and stuff. Yeah I don't know. But that is cool. I hope to find that much some day.

Ya baby! Thats what im talking about. I cant wait to get a group shot of all our stuff combined. Its gonna be mind blowing. I hope sunday we can add to these totals! Until then..

We will need a very wide angle lens to photo all the finds...

I see your dream field still has plenty to give up. Great job on the 2 reale! You need to get the farmer to deep plow that site even if you have to pay him. No telling what that might turn up.

Its going to be Christmas all over again, gotta love it...

Wow Art, that's just sick man!! You have pulled some great silver out of that field. A lot of the buttons aren't your average plain flatties either - so many are military or have neat designs. That Revenue Cutter button is sweet!

Thanks Steve. If the ground could have been a little kinder to the buttons and copper coins I'm sure there would have been a few banner finds in the bunch. Looking forward to Sundays hunt...
