It appears to be a Jewish 'lepton' from the 1st century BC; more commonly called a 'Widow's Mite', based on a Bible story as related in Mark 12: 41-44. The image is that of a Seleucid anchor symbolizing maritime strength. The anchor appears upside down, but that was the correct storage position on board a boat. What does the reverse look like? The original coin was made of bronze, weighed about 2 grams and had a diameter of about 16 mm.
