Found this all in one hole!!!!!!!!

I found all of this in the first hole I dug at this house. Almost had a heart attack, 1918 half dollar. The other coins are all that I found over memorial weekend down at harkers island nc. I found the old bottles and many more at a house built in 1824!!

Some great finds. What do you suppose the last bottle on the right was used for?

It was most likely opium. Lots of the other bottles had embossing but that one did not. My best guess.

Nice digging on the bottles, sir. Is that green square intact, and/or embossed? Being the bottle fan, I'd encourage you and your shovel & scratchers to return and dig more... Please show any additional bottles in the Bottles & Glass Department.

That last one mimics the form of a Dalby's Carminative.

I also found a broken grangers bitter!!!!!! It had all the pieces but had been broken in the ground ((!!
On eBay one sold for $720!!!! But mine was broken. The lady is over 90 and said I can come back anytime I want so every weekend I go to the beach I will go back . Ill keep you all posted on my finds.

If you have all the pieces, you might consider a glue back. The Granger Bitters are seldom seen, and some bottle junkie searching for one might let loose half a yard to a Benjamin to have one as a placeholder.

I'd skip the beach, and dig that place up one side & down the other...
